AASBO, founded in 1968, is a professional association of school business management officials who are responsible for every financial and operational facet of K-12 public schools in Alabama. Our members include professionals whose areas of responsibility may include finance, accounting, risk management, transportation, payroll, purchasing, child nutrition programs, technology, maintenance and operations, and school facilities.

Our goal is to provide programs and services that will enhance the professionalism of school business management officials and to improve the performance of the school districts in which they work.

Our training programs and conferences provide professional growth opportunities as well as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas among professionals.
